Ivy leaf knot hairslide(ph11)

Pewter hairslide with ivy design and rhodium-plated stainless steel sprung clasp.

This hairslide has been made by being cast into a rubber mould and then carefully hand-worked and polished. The clip on the back grips the hair tightly to prevent the hairslide from slipping out.
The ivy leaf design was often used by the Celts - each leaf joined to the other in a seemingly endless line - representing the continuity of life.
